Dachwerk does not collect, transmit or store any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
Everything. Your projects, roof dimensions, notes, business details, logo, rates and settings are written to storage on the phone itself and are never uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Cut lists, PDFs and quotes are generated on the device. They go only where you send them: whichever app you pick from the share sheet, or whichever printer you choose. Dachwerk does not keep a copy anywhere but your phone.
Dachwerk Pro is sold through Google Play. Google processes the payment and tells the app whether the purchase exists; Dachwerk never sees your payment details. What Google collects in the course of that is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.
If the app closes unexpectedly, it writes a technical report (the error, the app version and the phone model) to a file on your device. Nothing is sent automatically. The next time you open the app you are asked whether to send it; if you say yes, it opens your own email app with the report attached, and you can read and edit it before sending. If you say no, the file is deleted.
Separately, Google Play collects anonymous crash statistics for apps installed from the Play Store, for users who have opted into sharing diagnostics. That is a Play feature rather than something Dachwerk does, and it is governed by your Google account settings.
The "Suggest a feature" and "Report a problem" buttons open your own email app with a message prepared. Nothing is sent until you send it, and you can edit or delete any part of it first.
Dachwerk's own code never opens a network connection. The app declares internet permission because the Google Play billing library requires it to complete a purchase. The calculator, the drawings, the cut lists and the PDFs all work with the phone in flight mode.
Dachwerk is a tool for building trades and is not directed at children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date at the top.
